I’ve been looking for a good tablet for a few months now. I would use the device for web surfing and gaming most of the time, and it needs to be very portable! I am NOT getting an iPad because it does not run flash and it is just a big ipod touch.

So far, I’ve looked at: Blackberry Playbook, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (which has some legal issues), motorola xoom, and the toshiba thrive.

I am 13, and there is no cell coverage where I live. Is the thrive a good choice? Are there any really bad hardwear/softwear issues with it? And how many gb’s should I get?

I’m debating weither to buy the white Apple iPad 2!

Pros:
Most up to date Apple software
Smart Cover
Will have it in time for everything:)

Cons:
If the iPad 3 comes out soon then i’ll have outdated software
Someone at Apple said the iPad 3 was ’something to make a song and dance about’. what if the iPad3 is AMAZING and i spent all my money on the 2?

Also i have the new iMac 27inch but i would like an iPad just so i can take it places and work on my school work out of the house.

My macbook air is only about two months old and has a very annoying problem. Almost every time I go to change the site I’m on it freezes. Say I am at youtube and click in my tabs ‘yahoo’. The spinning beach ball like thing pops up and I have to force quit. Why does my mac keep doing this and what can I do to stop it?

Wouldn’t they have to release a beta version of iOS 5 before they actually started shipping products with it? i am pretty sure the 4.3 beta came out a long time ago (for developers) so wouldnt they do the same for iOS 5 when the time comes?

i am reading all these articles about the new ipad and people are disappointed cause it wont come with iOS 5…shouldnt the writers know better or am i the one who is wrong?
ok, thats in 9 days…4.3 has been out a while so that developers can test it and find any possible bugs in the software. surely iOS 5 will release a beta version that will also be tested….did they release iOS 4 at the same time as iphone 4?

I know that the iphone 4 on verizon does not have the same ability to talk on the phone and surf the web at the same time like the iphone on at&t. will I have to wait for iphone 5 on verizon or is it the verizon network and they will fix that soon? I want to get one, but need that feature/capability
