I don’t own an xbox so I’m wondering if I should buy the normal xbox 360 slim or the halo reach xbox 360 slim.

Ok, i have a macbook pro and i was looking for a device that can capture the video off the tv and record it.
Further explanation: What i REALLY want is for the device to record my Xbox 360 games as i play them on tv. I know its a couple out there but i want one that has excellent, not good, recording quality, HDMI quality. Try to stay bellow the 300 price range. Well any suggestions?
